Miss Emily Ruck Keene

Born at Buckland in Surrey in 1829, Emily Ruck Keene was baptised there on 2 December 1829. Her father was Charles Edmund Ruck Keene, a 'clergyman without cure of souls' according to the 1851 census, at which time the family were living at Swyncombe House in Oxfordshire.

Emily never married. She appears on the 1901 and 1911 censuses living with her sister Mary at Paddock House in Benson, near Wallingford in Oxfordshire. She died there, aged 83, on 4 February 1913. She left effects valued at £2956.
