Volume 9, page 302, sitting number 12,204.
Almost certainly Charles Slater Fowler, a Presbyterian Non-Conformist born on 4 July 1783 and baptised on 25 July 1783 at Gainsborough in Lincolnshire.
At the time of his wife's death in 1845, he was living at 4 Fitzroy Square, London (The Times, 29 September 1845).
He appears on the 1861 census, a 'Retired Merchant' living with a niece and two servants at 34 Ladbroke Square, London. Technically in the Borough of Kensington, Ladbroke Square is on the north side of Hyde Park, in the area of Notting Hill, and therefore not far at all from Silvy's studio in adjacent Bayswater.
Charles Slater Fowler died, aged 85, on 16 February 1869 at 34 Ladbroke Square, London. He left an estate valued at £14,000.
