The Honourable Jane King was the daughter of General Robert Edward King, 1st Viscount Lorton of Boyle, and Lady Frances Parsons. She married Anthony Lefroy (1802-1890) on 19 July 1824. Her husband was the MP for the University of Dublin and lived at Carriglass Manor, County Longford, Ireland (where he owned 4229 acres) and at 84 Eaton Square, London.

The Honourable Mrs Lefroy died on 14 December 1868 'at Drumpellier, the residence of her son-in-law, Colonel Buchanan' (Belfast Newsletter, 18 December 1868).
