The Hon. and Rev. Frederick Curzon
(1795-1871)
4 June 1861

Volume 4, page 14, sitting number 4128.

The Honourable and Reverend Frederick Emanuel Hippolyte Curzon was the vicar of All Saints' Church at Mickleover in Derbyshire. Born in Westphalia on 5 February 1795, he was the son of Nathaniel Curzon, 2nd Baron Scarsdale, and Felicité Anne Joséphe de Wattines.

On 13 December 1826 at Heanor in Derbyshire he married Augusta Marian Mundy, second daughter of Edward Miller Mundy of Shipley Hall, Derbyshire.

He appears on the 1861 census, a widower with three servants living at the Vicerage in Mickleover.

He died, aged 76, on 18 December 1871, at Mickleover Vicarage in Derbyshire, leaving effects valued at only £450, a surprisingly small estate for the son of a peer.
