The Honourable Isabel Gough-Calthorpe
(1833-1896)

Born Isabella Eleanor Mary Gough-Calthorpe in London on 1 July 1833, she appears on the 1861 census, living with her parents at 33 Grosvenor Square in Mayfair. She gave her name as Isabel rather than Isabella. 

She appears on the 1881 census, living with her unmarried older brother, Frederick, Lord Calthorpe, at the family seat, Elvetham House, at Elvetham in Hampshire. Her name was recorded as Isabel Emily [sic] Calthorpe. Her younger sister, Olivia, was also present. The two women were 47 and 46 respectively, and both unmarried.

The Honourable Isabella Eleanor Mary Gough-Calthorpe died on 20 December 1896 at her residence, 9 Stratton Street, Piccadilly. She left an estate valued at £52,316.
