David Sinclair Wemyss

Born on 28 September 1813 at Wick in Caithness, David Sinclair Wemyss was the son of Captain William Sinclair Wemyss, 6th of Southdun. 

At Inverness on 22 August 1850 he married Elizabeth, eldest daughter of the late Captain George Sackville Sutherland of Aberarder, Inverness-shire. Their marriage produced four sons and three daughters.

David Sinclair Wemyss died, aged 64, on 10 December 1877 and was buried at Wick.
