Baron Clary
(1837-1877)
Born in 1837, Joseph Adolphe Clary, baron Clary, was the son of the French senator Joachim, baron Clary (1803-1856). He was Emperor Napoléon’s Officier d’ordannance during his exile in Great Britain.
On 10 January 1870 he married Angèle Marion, a Dame d’honneur of the Empress Eugénie. The marriage produced two children.
In 1870 baron Clary was raised to the rank of comte. He died in 1877.
