Louise Fiocre

The dancer Louise Fiocre is seen here as ‘L’Amour’ in the ballet Les amours de Diane, performed as the divertissement in Act II of Prince Poniatowski’s Pierre de Médicis, which premièred at the Salle Le Peletier on 9 March 1860. Seventeen years old at the time, she was already a veteran of four seasons at the Paris Opéra.
