There are two likely matches for a fuller identification, coincidentally both of them on the island of Gurnsey. One is Marianne Carey, wife of Peter Carey, the Rector of St Saviour's; the other is Emily Aubrey Carey, wife of Peter Stafford Carey, the Bailiff of Gurnsey. The first named was born in or about 1812 in St Peter's Port; the second in or about 1800, also in St Peter's Port.
