Miss Emily Divett

Emily Mary Divett was born in 1840 at 97 Eaton Place, London. She was the second daughter of Edward Divett (1797-1864), Chairman of the South Australian Bank and the Liberal Member of Parliament for Exeter from 1832 until 25 July 1864. Her mother was Anne née Ross (died 1855).

On 22 December 1869 at Würzburg Emily married Baron Christoph von Reitzenstein zu Schwarzenstein.

She died in Berlin on 1 March 1900, at the age of 59.
