An early 20th century photograph showing a baby in white coffin photographed against a backdrop improvised from a sheet or table-cloth, the fold lines of which are clearly visible.

Photographer and location unidentified but acquired from an American dealer so presumably North American.

The print measures 4" by 5"  (10.5 cm by 13 cm) on a slightly larger mount of dark brown Bristol board with embossed decorative border.
