The Honourable Mrs Coventry
(1815-1862)

Born on 6 May 1815 at Dalmeny in West Lothian [Scotland], Caroline Sterling Dundas was the daughter of James Dundas of Dundas and the Honourable Mary Tufton Duncan, youngest daughter of Admiral Viscount Duncan. 

On 2 August 1837 she married the Honourable Henry Amelius Coventry, younger son of the 8th Earl of Coventry by his second wife Lady Mary Beauclerk. Their marriage produced three sons, all with the first name Henry, and five daughters, all with the first name Mary. 

She died, aged 46, on 1 January 1862 at Coventry House, Melton Mowbray.
