32062: Our Ambassador of the Air - Col. Lindbergh and Plane 'Spirit of St. Louis'

Extensive information concerning Colonel Lindbergh and his achievement printed on the reverse of the mount. When Lindbergh land his plane 'The Spirit of St. Louis' at Le Bourget airport on 21 May 1927, he became the first pioneer of the skies to accomplish the long dreamed of non-stop flight from New York to Paris.

Curved mount.

condition: Excellent, though slight discolouration in the sky of the left-hand print.
