| A 1/6th plate ambrotype showing a group portrait of eight people all of similar age, perhaps siblings.
The image is housed in an immaculate Union case in near perfect condition (one tiny chip near one hinge on the inside of the spine). The lid of the case is lined in plain, dark purple velver. There is no matt, only a chased, brass inner frame. Scans of the Union case are available on request. |
