| An unusual 1/6th plate ambrotype, showing two men riding ponies along the sea shore.
The image is housed in an ornately chased brass matt with chamfered corners, and a brass inner frame. There is also a hanging half-case but it has all but disintergrated. The poor quality of the matt and inner frame suggest that this image was taken by an itinerant photographer. |
