|A 1/6th plate ambrotype of a man standing with each arm around a seated woman. The women are both wearing hats and are dressed almost identically, which strongly suggests that they are sisters. Given the pose, it therefore seems likely that the man is their brother, and there is, in fact, a facial resemblance between them all.
Tooled brass oval matt and ornately tooled inner-frame.
Housed in an oxblood leather case (missing clasp), lined with plain, dark red velvet.
condition: The ambrotype is in excellent condition; the case is missing its clasp and a little of its leather inside.
