Photographed by Studio Arax of 31, boulevard Raspail, Paris, identified verso by the studio’s wetstamp. A bodybuilder himself, Arax produced beautifully lighted, classic studies of handsome athletes and bodybuilders, from the 1930’s to the late 1950’s. The print, including a narrow white border, measures 5” by 7” (127 mm by 177 mm). |
