Pauline Lucca
A carte-de-visite portrait of the opera singer Pauline Lucca (1841-1908).

Born in Vienna 25 April 1841, Pauline Lucca was an Austrian soprano who made her debut in 1859 as Elvira in Ernani. She studied in Berlin under Meyerbeer. From 1872 to 1874 she toured the United States and from 1874 to 1889 she appeared in Vienna. She died in Vienna on 28 February 1908.

condition: The print presents a few small imperfections in the area of the background but is
otherwise in excellent condition. The mount is also in excellent condition, with crisp edges
and sharp corners.
