| A cousin of Sarah Bernhardt, Rosa Bruck was a successful actress with a career that spanned the last two decades of the nineteenth century. She first appeared at the Comédie-Française in 1883. In the 1890's she played the title role in Manette Salomon by the de Goncourt brothers.
