The Mahle or Mahili are an ethnic people of north-east India. Photographer unidentified but probably E. Taurines. The print measures 6” by 7.8” (153 mm by 171 mm) and is mounted on a cut-down section of album page that has been neatly split from its reverse by a professional conservator. |
