| A medical photograph showing the arm of a sixteen-year-old boy with hereditary syphilis, according to an inked inscription verso written in French.
The inscription also mentions a Dr. E. Buvin and St. Gabriel, the latter presumably the name of a hospital. The date. 6 January 1911, is also given. Photographer unidentified. The print measures 6.8” by 4.8” (174 mm by 121 mm) and is mounted on a piece of stiff firm card with a decorative border printed in red. The mount measures 10.6” by 8.2” (268 mm by 208 mm). |
