|A rare post-mortem portrait from Dakar, the capital of Senegal in West Africa showing a dead African baby surrounded by flowers. At the time that the photograph was taken, around the 1920's, Senegal was a French colony.

The print measures 4" by 5.8" (101 mm by 146 mm) and the mount, which is a pale green-grey colour, measures 7.1" by 8.3" (180 mm by 210 mm).
