The album in which in this carte was found belonged to Rose Isabella Susan Preston (born 1842), later the wife of Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Ethelred Shuttleworth. Her mother's maiden name was Sheppard, so this is probably a cousin or an unmarried aunt.
