Given that the preceding entry in the daybooks is almost certainly her husband, this must be Louisa Smith-Barry, daughter of James Hugh Smith-Barry of Marbury Hall in Cheshire and of Foaty, Co. Cork, Ireland. She married the Right Honourable Thomas Barry Cusack-Smith, a distinguished lawyer and judge, who, for twenty years, from 1846 to 1866, was Master of the Rolls in Ireland.
