Born Thomas Robert Brook Cartwright in 1830, his parents were Sir Thomas Cartwright and Maria Elizabeth Augusta née von Sandizell. On 2 November 1858 he married Lady Elizabeth Jane Leslie-Melville, daughter of the 10th Earl of Leven. They had three daughters and one son. Thomas Robert Brook Leslie-Melville-Cartwright died on 23 January 1921. |
