| The sitter is identified by a pencilled inscription verso in a period hand. His name also appears in Disdéri’s catalogue of March 1861.
Ordained on 25 May 1839, Monsignor Jean-François Landriot was the Bishop of La Rochelle-Saintes from 1856 to 1867. He was named Archbishop of Reims on 20 December 1866. |
