The tenor Joseph Dufrène joined the Paris-Opéra in 1859. On 27 December of the same year, he became a Sociétaire of the Société des Concerts de Conservatoire.
His name is sometimes recorded as Dufresne or Dufrêne. He later taught at the Académie Impériale. |
