Born Frances Mary Glynn on 2 May 1795 in Glynn, Cornwall, her parents were Edmund John Glynn and Elizabeth Anne née Worsley.
On 28 February 1820 at Padstow 'Fanny' Glynn married Charles Prideaux-Brune. The couple had five children.
Mrs Fanny Prideaux-Brune died in London on 22 July 1868 and was buried in Kensal Green Cemetery.
